Firstly I would like to make an apology for being a doofus and forgetting my proper camera, so I had to make like facebook and use my phone. But hey it meant taking a different approach and getting some different shots. Like jibbing: same feature but with a creative and alternate approach... 

Right now that's that out the way, what was it all about? The chilled out rider-judged event returned on 13th June at officially-progressive Knockhill mbc. Roger and Kim have been working & playing hard and the centre was looking sweet with plenty of new features for people to get butter-ey on. They had even sorted out some sunshine, or is it that the sun is always shining when riders are in the place getting their jib on?

So, for the third year running the scene was set for another classic day of Cream Teas, fun and styles at Knockhill. Better hope my phone is charged.

Highslide JS My trusty black Rem-mobile rolled in early afternoon, after grabbing Beezer from his place of education, to find  plenty of boarder's chilling in the summer sun. It's like the quiet before the storm.








Highslide JS As you can see there was lensmen a plenty to capture the action.

Highslide JS A change of zone shows Rhys is a true master of 4x4 wheelie boarding. He can not only throw pretty shapes in the air but he can also carry things as well.








Highslide JS The riding was inventive, playful and fun. They kept on till they could ride no more! But before they finished, there's time for one last train!

Highslide JSBefore we depart to Knockhill's bar, prizes need sorting and Rhys has to give his pet leech one last goodbye before he goes to his new home.  (If you're wondering, thats the thing in the jar bottom right)

Highslide JS Joe 'dikko' Dickson took first and walked off with some sterling gubbins. I wonder if he's going to win the other original-art-deck prizes in the set?

Highslide JS In a change to the normal premier of the BFC's latest flick there was some football to watch. If  anyone thought England were in for a chance of lifting the trophy they surely hoped their first game was a minor hiccup, what with a butterfingers goalkeeper  n all...







Highslide JS Game over, post match beers and pizza, Dave's eating again :) 

Mountainboarding is so much funner than football.

Boarders, beers and a perfect end to another mindblowingly sick days riding at Knockhill.

3 Cheers to Rhys & Dave for sorting it all out,  ATBShop, Boardology, MBS Europe, Snow Lab & Trampa for  providing prizes, and to Roger & Kim for being great hosts, finding leeches, and making such a dope mountainboard centre.

Pack up the van and hit the road, smiling heartily :) Round one done, next up Bugs Boarding on the 17th of July, and the last round ooopp north to see Markus at Surf the Turf near Kendel. Be there!
