A messge from Raph La Roche: Dear All, It is with a heavy heart that I have been asked to forward some very sad news. On Monday 2nd May 2011, Koby Alexander Francis De Havilland-Hall, son of our dear friends Philip De Havilland Hall and Amy Chase passed away at his home in Great Malvern unexpectedly in his sleep, aged 5 months. Phil and Amy are surrounded by their close family and friends and are showing true strength of character in this very sad time. Koby `Boo` was a real character, even at such a young age he laughed at anyone around him getting hurt, with all those early morning feeds Amy and Phil would be blundering around bashing themselves on cupboard doors in the dark and Koby found this most amusing! He quite obviously had the stuff mountainboarders are made of! He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Phil and Amy have asked Lorna and myself to be their point of contact over the next few weeks as they need to be around their close family and friends at this very difficult time. If you want to get a message to them PLEASE DO SO THROUGH US. No funeral details have been set yet but they have asked me to let all of you know that you are all invited. Anyone who knows the family is more than welcome to attend. They both asked me to make sure that if you do want to come along on the understanding that no one is to wear black and also that they want us all to celebrate Koby`s life the way us mountainboarders know how to celebrate. As soon as I have all the details I will let everyone know the venue, date and time. I spoke on behalf of our community when I told Phil and Amy that we are ALL behind them and our hearts are with them. Your chairman and friend, Raphael la Roche. Rest in peace little man.
