How long have you been interested in photography

I have been interested in photography for the past 42 years. I started taking photographs in 1966

What got you interested in photography?

Initially it was my dad who got me in to photography. My interest in photography was renewed when i started taking photographs at Mountainboarding events. So many interesting people and places to take photographs of !

What was your first camera?

My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic 50 costing 3pound and 6 shillings. My first SLR was a Minolta SR101 £90.00!

What is your weapon of choice now?

The Camera is mightier than the sword, so my current weapon of choice is a Canon EOS 30D with 24-70 f2.8 L lens

What would be ideal your ideal day taking pictures?

Ideally it would be on a Mountainside taking photographs of riders in spectacular locations, followed by some freestyle shots and then Chilling out round the campfire. The French open in Loge Des Gardes 2-3rd Aug this year ( 08 ) will hopefully provide me with this opportunity.

What was your best day out shooting?

There have been so many, every day out is different and i have enjoyed so many different Locations. If i had to pick one Day , It would have to be the day out on Tofano in the Italian Dolomites with the NO-SNO guys. This was true Mountainboarding, following extreme Lines in truelly Awe - inspiring surroundings.

Do you find it helps with Rhys being a pro-mountainboarder?

I think that my Photography as developed alongside Rhys's riding . Going to the events with Rhys for the past Five years as introduced us both to some great people. A great number of people put a great deal of effort into this wonderful sport of ours and i think it is down to these people that both myself, Debbie and Rhys love been involved.

Possibly the size of a London Trafficmaster ?
