Welcome

As most people know Myles Hillier is a close friend to Remolition and in light of his amazing season (getting down flips, getting his first podium and picking up noSno sponsership) we thought it only right to give everyone an insight into this enigma of a person.

A quiet spell?

You may (or may not) have realised we at remolition have not been putting as much as is usually the case on the site at the moment. However do not dispair, we're just working on a new site!

Remolition is the meeting point of the best photos, imagery and films from the world of mountain boarding and beyond. Plus some features and articles to give you some inspiration for the next time you drag your board out.

In the coming months we are planning to bring you work from film makers photographers and artists who are inspired by and involved in mountain boarding. To start with I would like to introduce you to our resident artists/photographers who will exhibiting their work from their back catalogues as well any new pictures which appear as time goes on.

First off the Dirt Monkeys will be our resident photographers. Most will people will know Daz and John as the ATBAUK timing supremos. But as some of you may not know their real passion apart from all things boardy, is photography. Both have been riding since the early days, so it is going to be interesting to see what they can drag from their archive and to see what a boarder's eye brings to photography. If their style and photos are recognisable this is because their work has featured in the Hill62 adverts, articles and on the website and they have also put on the odd slide show at mountain board comps. It should be interesting how their section develops over the season.

Next up we have our Artist in residence: Decreate. Dan Wilson (or Dan, or Wills) mainly works under the pseudonym of Decreate. Most of you probably do not know Dan but you know his stuff from ATBmag as he was a regular contributor and he has also worked with Turfware and the ATBAUK. Dan's inspiration comes from the woods were he spends his time riding and graffiti as well as anything which seeps into his subconscious. We are looking forward to seeing what he does with his section.

And last but not least we would like to introduce our resident filmmaker Fayjay Films. Fayjay has been riding and filming for 5 years now and those that take their free riding seriously will know who he is. Most you will know him from his clips on the WX myspace site and his first release last year, Our Terrain. Those of you who have seen his work will know his approach is a little different to others, looking for different angles and shots but always quality over quantity. Alongside focusing on Fayjay's passion for free riding this residency also marks the start of Fayjay's latest project, Rollin TV. We are keeping a close eye on this project to see how it develops.

As well as our residents will be playing host to some visiting artists, photographers, filmmakers and guest writers adding articles to the features section. So keep an eye on the site's latest exhibition section.
