From this competition we were lucky enough to have 2 great mountainboard film makers do us a video each.
However, despite the fact they were both filming the same day, they had both very different approaches to their
shooting style and their editing style. The first video is from Jack Johnston (of the BFC who filmed and edited Like This)
and the second is EvilC who hass been filming mointainboarding for many years now documenting LARD-ASS's journey.

After a mad journey down, with the whole country seemingly trying to get to the seaside, we arrived at Knockhill mountainboard centre, greeted by the BFC, with a veritable feast of jib features before us. After the riders having not seen each other throughout the winter it was high fives and stories of mad antics all round before the under 14s competition proceeded followed by the main event. The format of the day was unlike any other mountainboard competition with the hill being split into 3 zones, which would be sessioned for an hour each and a rider vote determining the winner. The result of this was a great sight, a group of great jibbers coming up with ever more creative runs, including many footplants, handplants and Mike ‘the lick' Paine backflipping off anything with air. However there was one downside, the overwhelming heat leading to riders needing 10 minutes to recover from a run, luckily the guys were on hand with cream teas and jam all round. After this interlude it was onto zone 2, consisting of handrails, rainbow rails, gap jump and a wall ride. With Jolly Tom on top form, MJing allover the shop, and his Trampa compadre Arno VDV's arrival the session really got going. No part of the park was left untouched, no rail unboardslid. Next it was to zone 3 for some air, with a quarter pipe and jump. Little Ben Hall setting the bench mark with 540s out of the quarter and throwing down one footers alongside The Compton and Sonny. As style oozed across the centre Mike Paine emerged at the top of the slope rocking a sumo outfit, with all eyes on him as he dropped into the kicker he pulled out a super smooth backflip, a sight that won't be easy to forget. Following this Dave Compton endeavoured to pull out the lamest tricks, quickly joined by everyone resulting in early grabs and sweetcases. Then after the prize giving and some dinner it was to the bar for the world premiere of the BFC's new film 'Like This.'
