Mountainboard Masters host have-a-go sessions!

HaveAGo-MountainboardingThere are excellent opportunities for youngsters to get involved with mountainboarding…

In the UK, longtime scenester and generally awesome rider Mr Leon Dove has taken over a small hill near Lancaster Uni in association with Lancashire Boys & Girls Club. It’s a local charity who inspire & enable young people, especially those who are disadvantaged, to help them realise their potential. Formed in 1934, this great local charity does all sorts of work & activities (bikes, archery, etc) and can now add Mountainboarding to that list!

This summer, between the 25th July and the 31st August, all comers will be welcomed by Leon (who already runs the Quad workshops), and taught the basics on this mellow slope in a beautiful setting.

It’s a great opportunity for local kids to be inspiredby a rider who has been scoring podium places for years, most recently taking first place in the Masters BX at Round 1 of the 2015 UK Championships…

Also recently in Italy the awesome Progetto Penice (Project: Penice Mountain) movement has been getting social and getting involved with local hospital & schools at the sports centre of Brallo and bringing smiles to many faces with their try-out sessions- including some of the doctors as well as the kids!

Mountainboarding is truly a sport that brings us together; for fun, to be active, to be a part of something.

Inspire, and be inspired.
